The Wonder Project was not created because the world needed another website.
It was created because the world needs more people who are willing to ask, “Why?”
Where everything began
It started with children's questions.
The founder of The Wonder Project, Isha, spent years teaching and working closely with children.
While helping students learn mathematics and science, she noticed something wonderful: children could turn even the smallest moment into a mystery.
They wondered whether fish became thirsty, where ants went when it rained, why the sky changed colour, and why adults sometimes forgot what they were doing.
Their questions were funny, surprising and sometimes much deeper than they first appeared.
Children asked without worrying about whether they sounded silly. They simply wanted to know.

The spark never disappears
Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, many of us become quieter.
We stop asking certain questions.
Not because we have stopped being curious, but because life becomes busy. Responsibilities grow. Deadlines appear. Sometimes we become afraid of sounding inexperienced, unrealistic or silly.
But wonder does not belong only to children.
Your curiosity is still there. It may simply be waiting for permission to return.
Look around you
Curiosity built the world.
Almost everything surrounding us began as a thought inside someone's mind.
Electric Light
Someone wondered whether darkness could be pushed away for more time than the candles.
Paper Clips
They were originally invented to attach tickets to fabric (as a trademark- like you have tags in clothes!) and then realized that this could be used to attach two papers!
Pencils
Many people worked towards this invention for years that is so common now! They used to cover the lead with leather and or a material that wouldn't stain their hands.
Homes
People imagined ways to create comfort, safety and belonging.
The Internet
People imagined information travelling across the world.
Wi-Fi
Invisible waves now connect people who may never meet.
Medicine
Generations of curious minds asked how suffering could be reduced.
Curiosity belongs to everyone
This project is for you.
You do not need to be a scientist to wonder.
